The ICRF trods a historical path of flowers, blood and sacrifice


International Crimes Research Foundation [ICRF], London Team, in the first hour on 21st February paid homage to the Language Movement martyrs, who gave their lives for their mother tongue Bangla on February 21, 1952. All members of ICRF [London team] placed floral wreaths at the Central Shaheed Minar London around half past midnight amidst tight security, to pay their respects to the Language Movement heroes whose sacrifice forever etched a place in the history of mankind as 21st February came to be known as the international language movement day.

Besides, the thousands of people from all castes and beliefs placed floral wreaths at the Central Shaheed Minar to pay their tributes to the Language Movement martyrs braving the bitter cold. They were singing the first eight lines of the immortal song written by famous Journalist Mr. Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury and tuned by Altaf Mahmud “Amar Bhayer Rakte Rangano Ekushey February….Ami Ki Bhulitey Paari”

NTV Europe, Channel I Europe, Channel S, Betar Bangla, ATN Bangla, Bangla TV and other renowned Bengali Broadcasting medias covered the entire progaramme at Altab ali Park on that day.
