We are delighted to announce that Sohul Ahmed Munna, who currently volunteers as a researcher here at the ICRF, is set to publish his first book in next year’s Ekushey Book fair. The book (which currently has a working title, author to confirm later) performs a critical analysis of the Pakistani army and its collaborators, the Al-Badr, and the role of religion in the Liberation War of ’71. Mr Sohel has spent a lot of time in conducting the necessary research for his publication. His book is set to become the first one in the history of Bangladesh which details the influence of religion on the war of ’71.
Mr Munna who currently studies at the Shahzalal University is one of ICRF’s most active members. He has been blogging for quite some time now and is a well-known face amongst various electronic and social media outlets.
While we understand the book is still in its infant stages in terms of finding a publishing house amongst other formalities, we would like to take the opportunity and wish Mr Munna all the best when his book eventually does become available.
